Soil Professional (Dutch)

This course is designed for green professionals working with soil and plant growth. Think of gardeners, arborists, green space managers, policymakers, and landscape architects. Whether you execute projects or provide advice, this course helps you make the right decisions for a healthy and sustainable soil.

In this course, you will learn how to assess, improve, and optimally prepare the soil for plant growth. You will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, so you can immediately apply what you’ve learned to elevate your projects.

What you will learn:

✔ How to interpret soil data and translate it into effective practical applications.
✔ How to create a soil profile pit and what it reveals about soil structure and health.
✔ Which soil properties influence each other and how they respond to external factors.

After completing this course, you won’t just know what a healthy soil needs—you’ll understand how to apply this knowledge in practice.

The course takes place at our own nursery in Sint-Oedenrode, a unique learning environment where theory and practice come together seamlessly. Here, you work among the trees and plants, allowing you to apply your newly acquired knowledge directly in practice.

The lessons are held in De Groene Verdieping, a modern training space on the first floor of our facility. This space is fully equipped for an interactive and hands-on learning experience. Throughout the course, you will frequently go outside to work in the field, assessing soil and vegetation under real conditions.

The course spans a full day, offering a well-balanced mix of acquiring and applying knowledge. A comprehensive lunch is provided, giving you the opportunity to exchange experiences with fellow participants and instructors in an informal setting.
